Set to become a staple of the Brisbane foodie scene, UPSTAIRS at Toombul will offer Brisbane’s northsiders and inner-city residents a unique dining and entertainment experience.

In case you missed it, the precinct will be headlined by Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq – a circus-slash-arcade bar and restaurant offering everything from vintage arcade games and dodgem cars to cocktails topped with fairy floss and golden gaytimes. It’s been dubbed the ultimate place for ‘kidults.’

It’s edging closer and closer to its grand reveal and this week they’ve announced another stellar bar and restaurant to their line-up. Drum roll please! Owners of the amazing Beyond the Pale in Coorparoo will be bringing their latest venture, Dapple + Waver to the northside.

We’re told it will be a modern, sophisticated open-plan restaurant and bar, serving a range of refreshing drinks and tasty eats. We’re talking gourmet pizzas, steaks, pork-belly Bao, and well, just about anything your heart desires.

Dapple + Waver inherits its warm and friendly hospitality from its older brother Beyond The Pale and owners, Aidan McGarrity and Mark McKenna. With all kinds of craft beers on tap and a phenomenal wine and cocktail menu, it’s just the kind of place that’ll turn Toombul into a bustling hotspot.

Ahead of its grand opening in November, Dapple + Waver will be making a sneaky debut at Toombul’s rooftop party on Friday 17 May to celebrate the close of the Brisbane Street Art Festival. Rock on up to the party for your first taste of this hot new restaurant and enjoy frosty beverages, live art murals, entertainment and more! Attendees will be treated to a free Pimms Cup or Dapple + Waver Session Ale and a taster food platter too!

Launching at the end of 2019, UPSTAIRS is Brisbane’s newest dining playground featuring up to ten new restaurants, an entertainment and lifestyle offering, and a refurbished cinema.
