Calling all Brisbane musos, event planners and live music lovers – an innovative new Aussie entertainment industry startup is here to bring new opportunities to Queensland performers.

Originally from Sydney (but please don’t hold it against them), The Hip Stars Band is a national cooperative of musicians – singers (including many from The Voice and The X Factor) and instrumentalists. Starting at 7:30 pm on Tuesday 3rd of April, they will be in Fortitude Valley (The Empire Hotel – 339 Brunswick Street), showcasing local talent such as the incredibly talented Russ Walker.

From a Jazz duo or three-piece hard rock bandto a nine-piece Big Band swing style ensemble, the Hip Stars Band offers something for everyone to enjoy.
