The Good Food & Wine Show 2017
The Good Food & Wine Show (GFWS) presented by Citi is back in Brisbane, bigger than ever for 2017, with brand new features, experiences, masterclasses and hundreds of first-time exhibitors showcasing products never seen before. Having toured the country, delighting foodies in Melbourne first, followed by the Sydney and Perth shows, The Good Food & Wine Show will arrive in Brisbane, running from Friday 27th through to Sunday 29th of October at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
GFWS visitors will be immersed in all things food and wine, from meandering through the rustic Gourmet Village packed with premium artisan producers (NEW in 2017), to engaging with Australia’s favourite celebrity chefs while they share their tips and tricks live on stage. For those who prefer a more interactive, hands-on experience, there’s a plethora of food and wine masterclasses on offer, including free wine tasting classes, a ‘get-your-hands-dirty’ pizza making class with 400 Gradi and cheese and wine matching. Plus, there’ll be Wine Ice Cream at the Vinomofo Adventure Park!
In addition to the expansion of local and regional exhibitors, the celebrity chef line-up is a major drawcard and Brisbane show-goers will be able to see some of their favourites take the stage, including Adam Liaw, George Calombaris, Luke Nguyen, Matt Moran and Miguel Maestre. The new Chef’s Lunch series, presented by the Citibank Dining Program, offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience for visitors to enjoy an intimate three course meal designed by the celebrity chefs themselves, matched with premium wine.
Other exciting debuts include the ‘Champagne Taittinger Bar’. Here, guests can pause and relax over a glass of Champagne or, to start the day with a touch of elegance, opt for a delicious High Tea, available each morning of the show. For those looking for a VIP experience, the Cape Mentelle VIP Lounge provides a day of luxury. Guests can enjoy this premium and exclusive lounge, as they enjoy unlimited drinks from Cape Mentelle, accompanied by a delicious meal and first-class viewing of the Good Food Theatre.
