The Francis Wolves

The Francis Wolves

Head on over to the Boundary Street Markets on Saturday June 20 for a toasty night of garage-afro-soul, psych-funk, jazz and hip hop. The Motor Room will light up with edgy afro-funk sounds by The Francis Wolves. Join the party by supporting The Francis Wolves  in the debut of “Valley Heat” b/w “Deep In the Ju Ju”.

The party will keep on buzzing with sounds from Soul Mechanics, as they team up with Master Wolf AKA Skinz, a Brisbane hip-hop visionary with jaw-dropping freestyle skills. The on-stage collaboration will turn The Motor Room into a Speakeasy of sorts, in exploring future poetry with break beats and rare groove aplenty. DJ Paprika will spin Funk, Soul, Afrobeat and gritty rare grooves for the in-betweens. Paprika’s helped warm the stage for people like Sharon Jones and the Dapkings, Norman Jay, Keb Darge, Quantic, The Bamboos, Cookin’ on 3 Burners and many more across the globe. DJ Paprika is the man behind the ‘Pots ‘n’ Pans’ in the Kerbside Collection and for his part in being part of the afro-tropical collective- Sabrosa.

Dance the night away with DJ Paprika from 6:00 pm and with The Francis Wolves, with Soul Mechanics featuring Master Wolf from 7:30 pm.
