The Dark Hour

The Dark Hour

Ever wondered what it’s like to see a horror film come to life?

For one night only Poly Gone Cowboy will play host to the Dark Hour exhibition by local artist James Bourbon.

Dark Hour is an exhibition of works, found items & projections inspired by symbology, the occult, black metal, xeroxed posters, horror films, and all forms of dark matter.

The collection of works explores our fascination with death across history and pop culture, channeling inspiration from everything from the medieval grim reaper, to the 1970’s film villain, the tool box killer. Artist James Bourbon takes us on a macabre journey through the sub-conscious, using rusty saw blades, faded gothic novels, and sinister projections to draw you into the darkness.

If you are into things that go bump in the night be sure to stop by for some drinks and devilish times.

Dark Hour is one of several collections James Bourbon has showcased across the world including exhibitions in Sydney, London, Chicago, Brisbane and Bristol.
