Voyage is the first part of The Coast of Utopia, a trilogy of plays written by Tom Stoppard in 2002. Set in the Soviet Union during the early 17th century, the play centres on Russian revolutionary Michael Bakunin. The black sheep of his aristocratic family, Michael deserts the military and his wealthy roots to become a philosopher.

Voyage is the beginning of an epic story of romantics and revolutionaries caught up in the struggle for political freedom in an age of emperors.
