The Art Of The Palate
If you have an appreciation for fine food, fine art and fine wine, The Art Of The Palate is definitely one for the calendar. Following on from February’s sold-out event, The Lab Restaurant and Bar is upping the ante and hosting an evening of luxe dining and indulgent wine tasting paired with an insight into the works of Australian contemporary fine artist Matt Stewart.
Hosted by the charismatic The Sunday Mail socials editor and Channel 7 Great Day Out presenter, Damien Anthony Rossi, guests will be treated to a carefully-curated four-course modern Australian menu along with a selection from Barossa vineyard St Hallett including Cellar Door exclusives.
ARTIST PROFILE – MATT STEWART
Bright pops of colour, combined with detailed brush work is what you’ll find in Australian contemporary fine artist Matt Stewart’s artworks. His use of aerosol and acrylic paint, see his individual style described as pop-art with a street-art edge.
An exhibition featuring a number of Matt’s pieces will be exclusively on display throughout Ryan’s On the Park and The Lab Restaurant & Bar during March. This is a fantastic opportunity to see Matt’s pieces up close and truly appreciate his stunningly distinct style.
Matt’s large-scale original canvas artworks are homed by collectors globally and both his private and corporate mural productions have a waiting list of clients, eager for him to transform their space. His works have caught the eye of many a multi-nationals including Disney, Cirque Du Soleil, MINI, Coca Cola, and the list goes on!
