The 7 Sopranos at Opera in the Gardens

The 7 Sopranos at Opera in the Gardens

Australia’s most beautiful voices will be in full bloom when the Rotary Clubs of Brookfield, Karana Downs and Toowong bring their coveted Opera in the Gardens benefit concert back to Mt Coot-tha this April.

The new show Aria Botanica starring world class act The 7 Sopranos is anything but garden variety. Let Australia’s most beautiful voices take you on a musical escape.

The artists that make up The 7 Sopranos are all graduates of Australia’s finest conservatories, winners of Australia’s most prestigious singing competitions and solo artists from major opera companies and orchestras internationally.

Individually, the singing pedigree of each artist is impressive. Collectively, they form an outstanding world class ensemble with vocal quality of rare distinction.

With a full musical bouquet covering everything from opera and classical to show tunes and musical theatre, this event tucked away in the sanctuary of the Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens Grass Amphitheatre is not to be missed.

This year there will be only one showing of Aria Botanica. Audiences are invited to bring blankets, chairs and a picnic basket to spread out to enjoy the show. The event is BYO.

This community project continues to benefit the work of local Rotary activities and charity Drug ARM Australasia. Money raised from previous Opera in the Garden productions is already changing lives.

With early bird prices finishing on the 31st of January 2018, audiences won’t want to ‘leaf’ this one to the last minute. Please support this worthy project by booking your tickets early at www.operainthegardens.com .
