Savour the velvety growls of Australian rock icon Tex Perkins as he hits the cabaret stage with his critically acclaimed band The Dark Horses. Tex Perkins is undeniably a standout in Australian music. His career includes albums and tours with Don Walker and Charlie Owen, and the TNT project with Tim Rogers. He has also performed as frontman for iconoclastic 90s band The Cruel Sea, and gritty pub rockers The Beasts of Bourbon.

With his rock, blues and ‘musician’s musician’ credentials nailed, he also went on to perform as Johnny Cash in national tours of the theatre production The Man in Black, which won him critical acclaim and a new generation of fans.
