TEEKS – Open Season at The Princess

TEEKS – Open Season at The Princess

With a brand-new album in the mix, rising young Māori singer TEEKS is bringing his soulful sound to Australia this August.

From the moment you experience the soulful croon of Te Karehana Gardiner-Toi – professionally known as TEEKS – you’ll be hooked on his vibrant, sensuous voice. The 26-year-old Māori singer-songwriter has already become a phenomenon in his homeland going to #1 with his debut album this year.

Giving audiences the chance to experience songs from his debut album up close and personally before release, TEEKS hit the road late last year to perform 6 select shows. The tour sold out in an unprecedented 7 days.

His debut album, Something to Feel, was then released in March 2021 to great acclaim, going straight to #1.

Don’t miss your chance to see this soul superstar-in-waiting.

Open Season is supported through Tourism and Events Queensland, the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland, and both the Live Music Australia Fund and the Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) – initiatives of the Australian Government.
