Tea Society and Hemingway at The Motor Room

Tea Society and Hemingway at The Motor Room

Don your funkiest sweater and grooviest slacks and head on over to The Motor Room at Boundary Street Markets for an evening of edgy reggae treats by The Tea Society and Hemingway.

The Tea Society is a sweetly blended mixture of reggae, rock and psychedelia. Lovingly brewed in the confines of Stones Corner. Maximum groove production guaranteed, enjoy responsibly. Brisbane five piece, Tea Society are fresh from laying down some groove-worthy tracks at Alcehmix Studios, and would like nothing more than to share them with you.

Hemingway make music like they like their scotch; warm, tasteful and unique. The after taste of the Hemingway flavour leaves the listener salivating for another shot as they mix reggae, rock and many other ingredients to create a unique blend of music they can rightfully claim as their own. Since their inception in October 2014, Hemingway have played every show they can get their hands on, from headline to support slots. Having enjoyed a warm reception from the Byron culture a handful of times as well as countless Brisbane shows these guys have grown a reputation for a balls to the wall approach and never holding back.

Make sure you take a wander through the delectable street food and night markets, kicking off from 4:00 pm.
