Tapestry: the Songs of Carole King

On the 45th anniversary of one of the best-selling albums of all time, Carole King’s pop masterpiece Tapestry is celebrated by two of Australia’s most loved vocalists.

Iconic performers Vika Bull and Debra Byrne, along with The Brill Band, reimagine the songs of the most successful and revered female songwriter in pop music history.

Released in 1971, Tapestry was No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart for 15 weeks, with over 25 million copies sold worldwide. It is considered one of the most important pop albums of the 20th century, producing the mega hits ‘I Feel the Earth Move’, ‘You’ve Got A Friend’, ‘(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman’, ‘It’s Too Late’ and ‘Will You Love Me Tomorrow’.

Performing these iconic works will be Vika Bull, best known as part of the duo Vika and Linda, and Debra Byrne, best known as one of the founding cast members of Young Talent Time and her starring roles in some of Australia’s most loved musicals.

Created by the producer/director of the smash hit At Last: The Etta James Story, don’t miss this heartfelt and passionate tribute to Carole King.
