Want to be more sustainable at home? Bring the whole family to the free Sustainability and Science Showcase at the Queensland Museum on Sunday June 19 for a fun day of kid’s activities, forums and wildlife displays while learning some practical eco-tips from some of Brisbane’s best science and sustainability experts.
Hosted by Queensland Science and Brisbane Sustainability Agency the Showcase will share the latest research, actions and ideas for saving our planet.
Book your free ticket for the forums on ‘Contributing to a sustainable city, starting with your home’ and ‘Protecting our world’ and enjoy an exciting range of hands-on activities and workshops including making a bird feeder, creating an insect leaf artwork, planting a tomato seedling to take home and meeting native wildlife at the Geckoes Wildlife exhibit.
Plus kick back and relax to some live music from local artist Harry Hart on the Eastern Terrace.
