Calling all superheroes! Join us on Saturday April 2 at Doomben Racecourse, where there will be free rides, games and entertainment for your little superhero or heroines. Kids can enter into the Fashions on the Field to win the best dressed superhero competition, get their faces painted as their favourite comic book character and have their photo taken in the superhero photo booth.

Your little superheroes can also get creative at Starlight Children’s Foundation craft station, watch the mini trotter’s race and see a farrier shoe a horse, learn all about racing from jockeys and meet Captain the pony.

Tickets are free for children under two years, $5 per person for children under 12, of which all proceeds go to the Starlight Children’s Foundation, and $20 per person for adults. Superhero Family Picnic Passes are available for $85 and include two adults and two children plus a delicious picnic lunch.

You’ll also have the chance to win a car by purchasing a raffle ticket for The Starlight Children’s Foundation MotoramaCar4Kids draw valued at $35, 000.
