Sunshine Sounds Festival

If you need a little sunshine in your life, mark July 29–30 on your calendars because Eumundi’s family-friendly music festival Sunshine Sounds is back! Sunshine Sounds works to celebrate homegrown artistry on Gubbi Gubbi Country in Eumundi, with a colourful line-up of creatives that are ready to bring sunshine and good vibes to your weekend.

The all-Aussie line-up includes the likes of Katie and Tyrone Noonan of george, Clare Bowditch, Tim Rogers, Asha Jefferies, Bobby Alu, Hat Fitz & Cara, Andrea Kirwin & the Yama-Nui Social Club, Band of Frequencies and more! At its heart, Sunshine Sounds Festival uses the power of music to bring people together, fostering community spirit and connection. A key element of the 2022 festival is the inclusion of the Eumundi School of Rock – a unique mentorship program for young musos between the ages of 8 and 17. These little legends will be playing live on the big stage alongside Tim Rogers on Friday July 29. The Saturday program also includes the Sunshine Sounds Community Choir, which gives festival-goers the opportunity to join in on a group sing-song for all ages and abilities.

There are single-day and full weekend tickets available. Grab yours, gather the fam and head up to the Sunshine Coast for a wholesome weekend spent supporting the arts and listening to some darn good music.
