Fresh in 2021, be a part of Queensland Museum’s new Sunday Sessions, an ongoing series of panel discussions, presentations and conversations exploring thought-provoking, engaging topics and ideas related to life in Queensland and beyond.

Join, Paul Barclay, ABC journalist and presenter of Big Ideas for The Psychology of Fashion – a conversation exploring the connection between the clothes we choose and their impacts on our mental health, well-being and our environment.

With well-known and special guests making an appearance such as Brisbane fashion advisor and eco-stylist Leanne Zimmermann, Daniel Allen and Ed Ross, the founders and directors of TradeMutt, a tradesman’s work wear clothing brand that aims to be a catalyst for conversations about men’s mental health. As well as Alice Payne, Associate Professor in Fashion in the School of Design at the Queensland University of Technology whose research centres on environmental and social sustainability concerns throughout textile and apparel industry supply chains meaning this one is not to be missed.

Your ticket includes after-hour access to their exclusive exhibition I Do! Wedding Stories from Queensland. You will have the chance to see the exhibition on its final day, and also have the opportunity to talk to members of the exhibition team.
