Summer Holiday Fun at the State Library of Queensland

Join in the fun at State Library of Queensland this summer. They’ve got free activities the whole family can enjoy, from family movie screenings to stories, songs and hands-on craft. Bring the young ones to a story station to hear stories of mischief-making animals in Queensland’s quirky setting. Older kids and parents can catch a film screening or take the Queensland quiz challenge.

And those with a love for storytelling can join creative writing workshops, connecting with writers to hone their skills. There’s also fun to be had at State Library online, with daily First Five Forever sessions and evening bedtime stories for the young ones, and brain bending quizzes that will have kids and parents alike competing.

Activities are free but bookings are essential.
