Strand Ephemera – The North’s Sculpture Festival, proudly supported by Glencore is North Queensland’s premier biennial outdoor art exhibition. Strand Ephemera is held along the 2.2 kilometre beachfront promenade and recreational parkway known as The Strand, an idyllic parkland that looks out to Magnetic Island. The event features works in diverse media by local, national and international artists, and is complemented by a dynamic program of free talks, forums, workshops, tours, functions and events.
