The crucial drawing of the barriers for those horses competing in the Group 1, $1.5 million UBET Stradbroke Handicap will take place on Wednesday, 7 June at Eagle Farm Racecourse.

Officiated by Queensland Racing stewards, the all-important Barrier Draw will be attended by the country’s racing elite.

The UBET Stradbroke Handicap, the headline race at Saturday 10 June’s UBET Stradbroke Day is Australia’s premier sprint race that attracts Australasia’s finest jockeys, trainers and horses.

The Barrier Draw is a critical factor in the running of the UBET Stradbroke Handicap, Queensland’s top racing event, where every starter is a potential winner.

Owners and trainers of the final field of 23 horses, (18 starters and 5 emergencies) hope to draw the right number at the Barrier Draw, giving their horse the best possible start.
