Splendour in the Grass

Splendour in the Grass

Mark your calendars. Fire up the group chat. Dust off your dancing shoes, it’s going to be sunny right? Tell your boss it’s time for your yearly sonic sabbatical … Splendour in the Grass is back and ready to blow out 21 candles with you in 2023!

The 21st annual Splendour in the Grass will bring the world’s most prolific artists and national music treasures to Ngarindjin/North Byron Parklands from Friday July 21 to Sunday July 23. Headlining will be none other than GRAMMY award-winner Lizzo, who will be joined by electronic music icon Flume. British folk rock band Mumford & Sons will also be headlining, as well as beloved psychedelic surf-rock favourites Ocean Alley, in lieu of Lewis Capaldi’s cancellation.

Music aficionados with a Splendour ticket can also look forward to hearing from New York City rockers Yeah Yeah Yeahs, homegrown heroes Hilltop Hoods and New Zealand pop princess BENEE. There’s also Ruel, Marlon Williams, Noah Cyrus, Skegss, Cub Sport, Meg Mac, Young Franco, Sam Fender, Arlo Parks, Ball Park Music, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, PNAU, Sly Withers and many more rounding out the line-up. Joining the already stacked roster is Detroit rapper Danny Brown and super-smooth vocalist Thelma Plum, who are replacing Slowthai and Rainbow Kitten Surprise.
