Southern Queensland Country comes to Eat Street Markets

Southern Queensland Country comes to Eat Street Markets

The flavours, colours and characters of Southern Queensland Country are headed for Brisbane’s Eat Street Markets on Friday April 17 and Saturday April 18. Showcasing Southern Queensland Country in autumn, a collection of stallholders will represent the rich flavours of the region that stretches from Toowoomba to the west past Roma and from the South Burnett region including Kingaroy down to Stanthorpe in the Southern Downs and the Granite Belt.

Eat Street Markets will come alive with a country vibe featuring cooking demonstrations, farm-gate stalls, wine tastings and more, starring the artisans, producers and growers who make it all happen. Joining the Southern Queensland Country team will be leading chef Miguel Maestre (from television shows including The Living Room, Boys Weekend and Miguel’s Tropical Kitchen), who is a huge fan of the produce of the region. Miguel will give lively cooking demonstrations and create culinary magic with local produce and flavours.
