Social Structures brings together artists who use industrial materials and found objects to create sculptures and situations that foreground relationships. Within the works, common hardware materials are denied their regular utility to instead explore social concerns or create experiential moments. Integral to each work is a sense of duality, tension and balance, which in some cases is heightened by performance or participation.
