Shinrin-Yoku forest therapy guided walk

Shinrin-Yoku forest therapy guided walk

The Japanese concept of Shinrin-Yoku translates into 'forest bathing' — the practise of spending time in nature to reduce stress and enhance mental and physical wellbeing.  Immerse your senses in nature on a guided mindfulness walk through Boondall Wetlands. Along the way, deepen your awareness of your natural environment and soak in the therapeutic effect. Expect to leave feeling relaxed and restored with a renewed appreciation for nature.

Requirements – All children must be accompanied by an adult. Wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site.

Note – activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
