Food lovers with a sense of adventure are invited to pull out their reindeer jumpers and celebrate Christmas In July with surprise dining creators, Secret Foodies. This festive dining experience will happen in Brisbane starting at noon. The centrally located, secret destination will be revealed to guests just two hours before the event via SMS.

Secret Foodies has been hosting surprise dining experiences in Sydney since early 2010 before launching in Melbourne in 2013 and Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast last year in 2016. Secret Foodies is designed for people of all ages who enjoy great food and love meeting new people. Past Secret Foodies events have been held in various restaurants as well as random locations including laneways, warehouses and even a farmyard barn.

Guests are asked to bring a Kris Kringle present wrapped and ready to swap during the evening. Gifts have to either cost less than $5, be handmade or re-gifted. Not only will guests enjoy a bountiful feast and flowing wine but they’ll also have an opportunity to meet the chef during dessert. The chef will share their hot tips on how to prepare the perfect Christmas meal and answer any foodie questions from guests.

Tickets are $100 and include a Christmas drink on arrival, three-course Christmas feast and flowing wines from Mud House Winery during event. Dietary requirements can be catered for with notice.
