The heart of Sandgate will come alive this October 10, for the Sandgate Sunset Run and Festival. Teams of runners and walkers will do laps of the main roundabout, while spectators enjoy the festivities and cheer on the participants. But it’s more than just a running event, it’s a fiesta of food trucks, market stalls and kids entertainment. With the added Junior Relay and Kids Dash this year, the whole family can experience the competitive spirit. Once the run is over, the children can have some more fun on jumping castles, get their face painted, or get their hands on some glow merchandise. Dress-ups and costumes are encouraged for young and old, participants and spectators alike.
