Philip Bacon Galleries will display the artwork of an iconic Brisbane based artist, Robert Brownhall, showcasing 28 paintings and drawings inspired from our local environment.

Visitors can enjoy the magnificent artworks from Tuesday March 7 until Saturday April 1, between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. Highlights of the exhibition are Brownhall’s large scale nocturne paintings of the Brisbane River looking toward the Story Bridge (Moon over Story Bridge), as well as the Old Museum building (Museum in Afternoon light and Night Museum). The exhibition also showcases Brownhall’s paintings as the inaugural Brisbane Airport Corporation’s artist in residence.
