Roaring twenties cinema returns to Brisbane in 2019. The cinema will be screening monthly in the intimate Lumen Room, at Metro Arts. From 7.30 pm, the program includes a short, followed by a main feature – introduced by the knowledgable silent film enthusiast Joel Archer. Joel transports patrons back to the Golden Age of the Twenties with a movie program starring such iconic names as Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks, Harold Lloyd and more.

A score will accompany these silent features. Don’t miss a two-hour immersive program representing cinema-going in the 1920s.
