Eagle Street Pier cocktail bar Riverbar & Kitchen has teamed up with Peroni Italia for a three-month-long pop-up celebrating summer, scorching serves and big swings. In January, Riverbar’s neighbouring outdoor plaza will be reimagined with umbrellas, eye-catching bar carts, Amalfi-inspired decor and a giant television screen. Those popping in for an afternoon sip or an evening nightcap can slurp down Italian-inspired cocktails including the Peroni Spritz (Aperol, lemonade, orange, Peroni), jugs of Aperol, orange, Peroni and lemonade punch, as well as plenty of Peroni beer off tap or in the bottle. A summery snack menu features salmon ceviche with orange, dill, capers, pink peppercorn and creme fraiche, arancini with spicy mayo, and meatballs served with bread and Napoli sauce – not a bad spread from a cheeky after-work refresher!
