Held in Brisbane’s picturesque South Bank Parklands, Regional Flavours features free entertainment from celebrity chefs (think the MasterChef Australia judges, Miguel Maestre and Reynold Poernomo to name a few), delicious food, beer and wine, live music and kids activities.

Regional Flavours features free cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs and industry experts, plus wine, beer, street stalls, live music from local artists and a producer market featuring more than 80 stallholders from across Queensland.

At the festival’s Main Stage, you can see all of your favourite TV chefs and cooks present delicious recipes using Queensland produce, for free – this year’s line-up includes Matt Preston, Miguel Maestre, George Calombaris, Gary Mehigan, Reynold Poernomo, Ellie Bullen, Justine Schofield, Dan Churchill and Poh Ling Yeow.

The Queensland Taste Stage features local chefs and experts, all hosting cooking demonstrations that showcase Queensland produce – catch sessions from Bruno Loubet, Alastair McLeod, Paul West, Jason Ford, Matt Golinski, Georgia Barnes, Matt Jancauskas and James Ostridge with more to be announced.

The Hunting Club is a pop-up bar, bistro and stage that celebrates beer, beef and lamb. Head to The Hunting Club’s bar and bistro area for drinks, meals and snacks, right throughout Regional Flavours weekend. You can check out The Hunting Club’s stage for free meat-themed cooking demonstrations and live music during the event.

River Quay presented by eatSouthBank is Regional Flavours’ waterfront dwell-space. Head along to enjoy pop-up food and wine stalls run by the precinct’s retailers, Aquitaine, Popolo, Stokehouse Q, River Quay Fish and The Jetty South Bank.

As well as these spaces you can taste The Future of Food, give your little ones something to do at the Kids Collective, take in live tunes at The Sound Society, sample the region’s best produce at the ‘Flavours Of…’ stalls, plus loads more over the weekend.

Regional Flavours is being held on on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 July 2019. All venues are open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, except River Quay, which is open from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and The Hunting Club, which is open from 5:00–10:00 pm on Friday 19 July and from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm on the weekend.
