Some Like It Hot was the winner of an Academy Award for Best Costume Design (Orry-Kelly). Two struggling musicians witness a mob hit and are now on the run, cross-dressing to join an all-female band. In addition to hiding, each has his own problems; one falls for another band member (Marilyn Monroe) but can’t tell her his gender, and the other has a rich suitor who won’t take “No,” for an answer.

Screening as part of Reel Fashion, a collection of fashion films each Friday night at 7:00 pm at Palace Centro. Tickets are $10 General Admission and $8 for Movie Club Members.
