The Recycling Art Competition (formerly The Tip Shop Art Competition) explores the creative potential of recycling household items and furniture, and inspiring others to see the possibility in things that may have otherwise have been thrown away.

There are 14 artworks to choose from, all made by Brisbane artists using recycled items from Council’s tip shops and other second-hand sales. The artworks with the most public votes will win a share of $4000 in prize money.
