The Silks Festival will enliven and transform Racecourse Road with a bold celebration of community including everything from the past right through to the future.

Surrounded by some of Brisbane’s oldest and historical homes and with its traditional links to Eagle Farm Racecourse, Hamilton and Ascot will burst into life through an eclectic event program of music diversity, health and fitness, historical to contemporary, food, wine and craft beers, roving entertainment, market stalls, cheese, champagne and oysters just to name a few. With a strong focus on community and families there will even be plenty of activities for kids – big and small
