QPAC’s 30th Anniversary Public Celebration Day

On the day before the 30-year anniversary of QPAC’s official opening in 1985, the cultural institution will celebrate with a public party at South Bank. Live entertainment and activities will be spread across QPAC’s front yard, Cascade Court and Melbourne Street Green from 1:00–7:30 pm on Sunday April 19. Check out live entertainment from Chukale, The Sugar Shakers, Brisbane Bells and more, performances from Nunukul Yuggera and Wagga Dance Group and kids’ programs from Imaginary Theatre, with emcee duties performed by local theatre personality Ian Brown. Take a backstage tour with lighting designer David Walters and former theatre project manager and QPAC employee Iain Audsley. The event is free, but backstage tours must be booked on the day.
