Before becoming Fiction Publisher at Random House Australia, Beverley Cousins had over twenty years’ experience of London publishing. She has published a number of crime fiction brand-name authors, including Minette Walters and Colin Dexter, and currently looks after bestsellers such as Judy Nunn, M. L. Stedman, Susan Duncan and Deborah Rodriguez.

Alexandra Payne is the non-fiction publisher at University of Queensland Press (UQP), one of Australia’s most respected independent publishing houses. Alexandra has worked in independent and multinational publishing houses in Melbourne and Brisbane since 1995, before joining UQP in 2007. Alexandra focuses on publishing trade non-fiction that will inform, move and challenge readers.

Pippa Masson is a literary agent at Curtis Brown and treasurer of the Australian Literary Agent’s Association.
