Professional Women's Networking Breakfast

Professional Women’s Networking Breakfast

The Professional Women’s Network is a quarterly breakfast function presented by St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School for community members to share, support and be inspired. The guest speaker for the third event of 2017 is one of Australia’s leading advocates for the social and economic empowerment of women, Julie McKay.

For nearly a decade, Julie held the position of Executive Director of UN Women in Australia, where she was one of Australia’s most successful advocates for women on a range of issues. In April 2014, she accepted an appointment as the inaugural Gender Advisor to the Chief of the Australian Defence Force, and most recently joined PwC Australia, where she is responsible for the firm’s diversity and the inclusion advisory business, as well as PwC’s own diversity and inclusion strategies and targets.

Gain insight and inspiration from this incredible speaker who believes the key to success will be converting awareness into meaningful change.
