Prenatal Yoga Six-Week Course
The Stretch Yoga Brisbane Six-Week Prenatal Yoga Course is suitable for pregnant women past their first trimester. No previous yoga experience is required. Designed to help alleviate some of the most common aches and pains associated with your changing body throughout pregnancy, as well as helping to prepare the body for birth and postpartum recovery – this is the perfect way to fit yoga into your busy schedule. The course also helps to alleviate the stress and anxiety associated with pregnancy, helping to keep both mum and bub calm, happy and healthy during this special time.
Each week of the course will build on the week before, covering content including:
Postural alignment for pregnancy
Working with props for pregnancy
Restorative Yoga for pregnancy
Yoga Nidra and Visualisation for pregnancy
Benefits & applications of squatting and pelvic floor toning during pregnancy
Special sequences for pregnancy: ‘Pregnancy Pawanmuktasna’ & ‘Pregnancy Salute to the Sun’
Yoga Therapy for pregnancy: back (and pelvic) problems & other common complaints
Yogic tools for labour
Active Birth and Yoga
We allow strictly one make-up class per course. All courses are non-refundable and non-transferable to different dates.
