Be guided through fantastical tales with an arty adventure designed to unlock creativity as part of Brisbane Powerhouse’s Powerkids: Art Lab.

Igniting little imaginations, experiment with the artists of Little Match Productions in a multi-sensory experience combining storytelling, music and visual arts in fun, play-based activities for 0-5 year-olds.

This term, experienced artists Alicia Cush and Penny Challen will tune-in little ears to the wondrous world of Mozart’s ‘The Magic Flute’, soaring into the starry night and taking flight with whimsical birds of the forest. Brisbane’s littlest artists will collaborate in a COVID-safe environment, creating magical, musical soundscapes and take-home artworks.

Participants’ artworks will be photographed and recorded during the session, and at the end of term, the recorded material will be combined to create a finished digital masterpiece to share.
