Powerkids: Little Artists at Play

Join us every Tuesday, during the school term, on the Turbine Platform. In this space, anything is possible.

New host artist starts Tue 23 Jan:  Let’s be robots!

Join us at the WeBe Robot Lab with theatre maker and performer Robbie O’Brien, where it’s all about working together to design and play with our robot selves.

Surrounded by props and creative play stations, children are encouraged to let their imagination run wild.

Make buttons for jumping, smiling, giving hugs or singing a song. Have fun and discover all the many ways to play robots – making noises, lighting things up and making them go!

Robbie O’Brien
Robbie is a theatre performer and maker who especially loves interactivity, games and play. He’s got a Master’s degree from researching that sort of stuff through a show called Plays Well With Others -a crazy play space for grownups. He also works as a Clown Doctor for The Humour Foundation and as an arts worker at the State Library of Queensland.

Powerkids: Little Artists at Play is a relaxed and inclusive environment where you and your children are invited to participate in the activities together.

During Powerkids: Little Artists at Play Bar Alto will open at 8.30am to accommodate all your coffee and babychino needs.
