Plastic pollution has proven to be one of the greatest environmental challenges facing our society today. Luckily, there are so many steps we can all take, as individuals and businesses, to reduce our plastic footprint. To learn about how you can live with less plastic, join us on Sunday the 1st of July for Plastic Free Day at Wandering Cooks.

Featuring market stalls, presentations and workshops from a variety of guests and local businesses, the event will explore numerous innovative and inventive ways to reduce our consumption of plastic. With this year marking both the 7th year running of Plastic Free July and the long-awaited introduction of the Queensland Government’s statewide ban on single-use plastic bags, there’s no better way to get informed and get your community to go plastic free! This is a free event except for the workshops – see prices below.
