Phatsville Comix Exhibition

Phatsville Comix Exhibition

Phatsville Comix has been operating for 13 years, becoming one of the longest-running underground publications in the country. Started in 2002, Phatsville was created by five animation students who wanted to work without editorial restrictions, creating a publication that embodied a distinct punk rock aesthetic. Over the years the comic has featured work from some of Australia’s best and original talent, encompassing broad styles and topics.

On Sunday August 16, Junky Comics will be hosting an exhibition of original art from across the 13 years and 19 issues of Phatsville, showcasing work from artists and Phatsville contributors Ben Sea, J-Stew, Glenn “Bad Teeth” Manders, Ben Hutchings, Glenno Smith, Jase Harper and Dean Rankine. The exhibition will be on display throughout August.
