Described as ‘a naughty bastard with a heart of gold and a voice of rotting grapes’ as well as ‘a sweet cup of sauce’, Peter Bibby has gained quite a lot of attention in a relatively short space of time. His debut album Butcher/Hairstylist/Beautician was released last November 2014. It came like a bat out of hell and bagged AOTW on radio stations and glamorous and flattering reviews around Australia. By January Peter Bibby was playing high profiled events like Sydney Festival and by late February he had finished a national tour as part of Laneway Festival 2015. In March he headed over to SXSW for several showcases and solo shows to support the release of his album in the USA on the uber cool Ma & Pa Records.
