Peaks to Points Festival
The Peaks to Points Festival is a biennial, regional, environmental festival that celebrates the natural areas on the south side of the Brisbane River from Flinders Peak in the west, to the points of Moreton Bay – Point Halloran, Wellington Point and Victoria Point. The festival aims to raise awareness of the importance of the creeks and natural areas of the region.
The two-week festival will be running from Saturday July 17 to Sunday August 1. The Family Day on Sunday July 18 will kick off the celebrations with a bang and will feature live entertainment, food trucks, kids activities and environmental stallholders.
The festivities continue across the fortnight with guided walks, tours, workshops, plantings, films, birdwatching and much, much more. It will also showcase the local groups, governments and businesses working to improve their creeks and natural environments.
