OUTstanding Clay with Jody Rallah

OUTstanding Clay with Jody Rallah

Sink your hands into some clay with Yuggera artist Jody Rallah at Aboriginal Art Co on Saturday July 30. Make clay vessels with native seeds in a grounding workshop where clay is used as a medium to celebrate Country as a hero. Jody will share local stories along the way, and you will take away a hand-made creation similar to a seed bomb.

Jody Rallah is a Yuggera, Biri Gubba, and Warangu person of the Brisbane and Bowen regions of QLD. Rallah works with a variety of mediums and practices, across object making, sculptural installation, painting, sound, and performance. She creates knowledge vessels as living embodiments for conversations spanning between generations, by exploring the aliveness of materiality and story.
