O’Reilly’s Wine Appreciation Lunch
O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards is hosting a five course Wine Appreciation Lunch. Both wine lovers and connoisseurs will delight in resident vineyard Viticulturist Kevin Murtagh and special guest Mr Peter Orr’s’ food and wine pairing for a five-course degustation.
Wine and Spirit educator and winemaker, Mr Peter Orr, will cover topics on human senses (sight, smell and taste), varietal characters and food and wine pairing.
As Mr Orr takes guests on a sensory journey they will enjoy servings of Cajun prawns paired with Lona Sparkling Blush and Confit chicken breast with crispy prosciutto cleverly partnered with Molly Marsanne – just two of the five courses planned in this collation.
The three-hour degustation will allow time to savour the tender eye fillet washed down with a Shane Shiraz followed by a delicious rum-raisin bread pudding and Pete’s Port –which will no doubt be a favourite on a crisp winters day at the winery.
For only $89 (less for members) and with the breathtaking Canungra Valley Vineyards and mountain ranges as your backdrop this is an excellent option for your next lady’s lunch or leisurely date. This is a dining experience and education not to be missed – just bring your appetite and all of your senses!
