Join Kate Wall to recycle your discarded Christmas gift wrapping into beautiful new handmade paper. We will use plant materials to enhance the handmade paper. Bring along a selection of the following if you can: pencil and paper, wrapping paper sorted by colour and torn into small pieces, a tub of water, tough green leaves. If you have materials, you can create as we go; if not, take notes so that you can collect materials and create later. Making paper has several steps that require several days to complete. We will get the first steps started and show you how to continue the process to result in your own handmade paper. We will also demonstrate how to embed pressed flowers and seeds into your paper.
