If you (like us) are looking for any excuse to listen to Arctic Monkeys on repeat, then this one is for you. It’s Alex Turner’s birthday so Brisbane’s The Foundry is celebrating by spinning the band’s back catalogue of party anthems including ‘I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor’, ‘Don’t Sit Down ‘Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair’, ‘Suck It and See’ and ‘Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?’. In between, Transmission djs will be playing all your other fave indie tunes from the likes of The Strokes, Tame Impala, Violent Soho, Bloc Party and Joy Division, to name a few. So all in all, it’s shaping up to be a damn fine time.
