Nodo X Unfit Run Club

Nodo X Unfit Run Club

Eating doughnuts for a good cause? Sounds like a win-win to us. This Saturday April 30, Nodo Donuts, UME and Unfit Run Club are joining forces to host a family-friendly 5-km run to help save Queensland girl Tallulah Moon Whitrod, who is suffering from a rare genetic disease called SPG56. The run, called Run for Our Moon’s Mission, will kick off at 6:30 am at Nodo Newstead, with hundreds of runners set to take to the streets of Brisbane and finish at Nodo South Bank. Every dollar raised from the event will go to ACNC-registered charity Genetic Cures for Kids, which was founded by Tallulah Moon’s parents and is funding world-renowned genetic research here in Queensland to help find a cure for this rare, progressive disease. As the name Unfit Run Club might suggest, you don’t need to be a seasoned runner to get involved – participants can walk, run or simply make a donation via the event booking page. Finish venue Nodo South Bank will host the official post-run event, offering participants free coffee, juice and doughnuts, plus host a major raffle to raise further funds. To book your tickets, head to Eventbrite.
