Award-winning company, Wax Lyrical Productions, presents the world premiere of Nineteen, a dark comedy about four young men, Noah, George, Adam and Josh, living in a share house. From the outside they seem like fun, loveable larrikins but underneath the bravado and binge drinking lurks something more sinister.

From beers and brotherhood to loss and loneliness, this endearing story uncovers the hidden side of finding yourself in a world filled with complexity and confusion. Crafted from interviews with over ninety young people, the four mates at the heart of Nineteen reflect the hopes and fears of the next generation. Amongst the laughs and unmistakable Australian sense of humour, writer/director Shane Pike unmasks the complexity and fear our brothers and mates are living with which, if left uncovered, can result in the greatest of tragedy.
