A night of heartfelt story and song featuring environmental champion Bob Brown, Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra and renowned Tibetan singer-songwriter Tenzin Choegyal. The Mystical Tibet concert makes it’s highly anticipated return to Brisbane Powerhouse in 2019 as part of the Festival of Tibet.

Bob Brown will open the evening discussing matters close to his heart and the future of Tibet, in conversation with ABC journalist, writer and radio presenter Paul Barclay. Bob Brown’s diverse experiences as a celebrated poet, author, medical doctor, environmental activist and former Australian Parliamentary Leader of the Australian Greens makes for inspiring listening.

Then experience award-winning Camerata–Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra alongside Tenzin Choegyal as they perform sublime interpretations of Tenzin’s original compositions. This creative collaboration of more than a decade has resulted in an elegant and ground-breaking fusion of musical traditions. Mystical Tibet is an evening not to be missed.
