Music By The Sea Festival 2018

Music By The Sea Festival 2018

Music lovers, assemble! The annual Music By The Sea Festival is back for its 16th year and it’s shaping up to be one of the best yet! This year, the popular festival has revised its format to one full day that extends well into the evening rather than running over three days. But fear not, the line-up is still jam-packed full of artists that are at the top of their game including Francis Gilfedder, who specialises in soundscapes, live music and visual images, alongside Sicilian folk trio Oi Dipnoi, and the genre defying Bungarribee.

Audiences will be able to enjoy quality music in the air-conditioned Sandgate Town Hall in the heart of the beautiful seaside suburb, Sandgate. Between the sets patrons can take a stroll along the seafront, grab a bite to eat and return to your comfortable seat for another charming performance. It is a festival in comfort! In addition to the hall, EclecTea Vintage Café and Matthew Thomas Cafe are Cafe Series venues and will be hosting free concerts for the public.

Performances in the Sandgate Town Hall are ticketed. Doors open at 11:00 am and close at 10:00 pm.
